Creek Side B & B is only 20 minutes from the first of 300 lakes on the Grand Mesa. The Mesa is pristine for snowmobiling, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, biking, and trout fishing. Powderhorn Ski Resort is situated on the north face of the Grand Mesa. Powder Horn is Family Friendly and along the way there are great family sledding areas.
There are various artisans, wineries, and galleries in the area and an excellent golf course in Cedaredge.
The Gunnison River is just 11 miles south on US Highway 65. It provides fishing, rafting, and other recreational opportunities.
